Richard Mathews is the CEO of RPMGlobal and serves on its Board of Directors. He is a 25+ year veteran of the software industry who is recognised for his leadership and innovation. Richard has a successful track record in scaling public and private enterprise technology companies. Since joining RPM, Richard has helped lead the company’s development and growth from a desktop software provider to a truly global organisation that is transforming the mining industry with the delivery of enterprise solutions in operations. Whilst the rest of the industry was contracting, he was investing and expanding RPM’s offerings and footprint.
Prior to RPMglobal, Richard was the Non-Executive Chairman and CEO of eServGlobal Limited. Before eServGlobal, Richard was the CEO of Mincom and held Executive roles at JD Edwards and Translink Transport Authority. He is also a founding partner of MHB Holding Pty Ltd. He currently serves as a board member of Telstra and previously was part of the Board for METSIgnited. Richards holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science and ACA.
Paul is the Chief Technology Officer, CTO, at RPMGlobal where he is responsible for leading the company’s global information technology strategy and driving the development and delivery of key IT initiatives to support RPM as it grows its workforce, customer base and the RPMGlobal solution suite. With more than two decades of experience, he has a proven track record in leading enterprise-wide programs and implementing best practices for employees.
Prior to RPMGlobal, Paul was the CTO for eServGlobal and Mincom. He has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computing.
David is the Executive General Manager – Technology Consulting and Partners at RPMGlobal where he has operational responsibility for engagement with RPM’s customers and partners. His objective is to be the execution hub for all RPM solutions that delivers consistent methodology and services whilst maintaining the high quality our global customer base demands making it easier for customers and partners to do business with RPM. David is instrumental in the growth and development of RPM’s strategic partner network and continues to grow RPM’s Training division from strength-to-strength. David brings more than 15 years of global experience that includes management and development of alliance programs extending across 50 countries, as well as leadership of a product globalisation team, and readying software for sale in multiple jurisdictions and languages.
He has held leadership positions at Mincom and JD Edwards.
Philippe joined RPMGlobal as a geologist in 2008 and went on to successfully build the group’s advisory business in Asia before recently taking executive ownership of all Advisory services. Having started working life in open cut and underground operations in Western Australia, followed by 3 years developing large porphyry copper projects in Russia, Philippe has spent the last eight years focusing on financial market transactions and downstream operational and exploration value creation.
Based out of Beijing for the past 5 years Philippe has managed numerous Due Diligence and Independent Technical Review projects for private acquisitions and listing purposes and has worked closely with leading Chinese state-owned enterprises and international financial institutions in Australia, Hong Kong, Mongolia, China and Russia.
Philippe holds a Bachelor of Science Mineral Exploration and Mining Geology, an Associate Diploma of Geoscience, a Graduate Certificate of Geostatistics and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientist (“MAIG”). He meets the requirements for Qualified Person (“QP”) for 43-101 and SGX reporting, and Competent Person (“CP”) for JORC and HKEx reporting for most metalliferous Mineral Resources.
Michael is the Chief Financial Officer of RPMGlobal where he is responsible for all aspects of RPM’s financial operations. Within finance, he guides the controller, treasury, accounting, tax and internal audit functions to support RPM’s growth strategy. Prior to joining RPMGlobal Michael held a senior management position in the business advisory division of chartered accounting firm Moore Stephens. Throughout his 15+ year career in accounting and auditing, Michael has successfully aligned financial and business metrics to support business strategy and high-growth.
Michael is a Certified Public Accountant and Fellow of the Tax Institute of Australia. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Queensland.
James is the Executive General Manager – Group General Counsel and Company Secretary of RPMGlobal where he leads the RPM legal, compliance and investor relations departments. He also works closely with the senior management team and board of directors on any legal, regulatory or compliance matter affecting the company. He has broad experience acting in an in-house legal capacity for multi-national companies, has served as company secretary and has experience in corporate governance, joint ventures, acquisitions and contract negotiation with multi-national licensing and consulting service businesses. Prior to RPM, James was as Regional General Counsel with Hyder Consulting Pty Ltd, and held Senior Legal Counsel roles at Ansaldo STS Australia Pty Ltd and Mincom Pty Ltd respectively.
James holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Information Technology from Queensland University of Technology, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia, is a Solicitor and Member of the Queensland Law Society and is an Associate Member of the Governance Institute of Australia (AGIA) and Chartered Institute of Secretaries (ACIS).
Michael is the Executive General Manager – Product Strategy and Marketing for RPMGlobal where he is responsible for positioning RPM’s growth strategy, cultivating opportunities in new and existing customer markets, and ultimately growing demand for RPM’s solutions globally. He has ensured marketing is an accountable business function integrated closely with the sales teams and aligned with the partner network.
Michael’s focus includes setting the strategic direction for the overall enterprise product strategy, driving the implementation for go-to-market initiatives, developing the long-range strategic business plan, and leading the Product Management team. He spends a lot of his time talking to our customers to understand how RPM can help solve problems and transform their businesses.
Michael has 15 years experience in the mining industry across the entire mining value chain. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University in Brisbane, Queensland.
Donna is the Executive General Manager for Human Resources at RPMGlobal, where she is responsible for the company’s global HR strategy, including workforce development, talent management, leadership/management development, organisational effectiveness, and employee engagement. A 20-year HR veteran, Donna has extensive experience leading organisational transformations, driving large scale growth, talent acquisition, leadership development, and succession planning with her most recent role with Australia Aerospace as the VP, People and Workplace.
Donna holds an Executive MBA from the Queensland University of Technology.
Barry Henderson is the General Manager, North America. He is an experienced and strategic Executive and leader with a proven track record of success with over twenty five years of experience in the software industry, focused on the resources sector, working in the technology and innovation space. Barry provides purpose-driven leadership and his strength lies in challenging his teams to develop approaches to winning and delivering business solutions which deliver successful outcomes to his customers. His deep understanding of client business models and the creation of win/win outcomes has ensured continued business growth and long-term sustainable customer relationships.
Across all of his Executive roles Barry has built and maintained high performing teams whilst inspiring individuals and teams to achieve stretch goals. Prior to RPMGlobal, Barry was the CEO of Maptek for 13 years and held senior leadership roles in North America where he was responsible for Business Development, Sales and Operational leadership. Barry has a B.A. in Geology from the University of Montana, a M.Sc. in Geology from the University of Iowa and a M.B.A from Regis University.
Mike Evans is the General Manager, EMEA. With over 30+ years’ experience, he is uniquely experienced in managing technology businesses in the Middle East and Africa. Mike is a commercially astute and results driven Executive, with a proven track record of accelerating growth in business-critical software and services across Enterprise segments. He is a pragmatic and technical leader who combines strategic analysis, experience in international and multi-functional environments, with a keen focus on delivering tangible results to complex customers, to optimise revenue generation. Mike has proven ability to lead and motivate teams to maximise innovative performance and results with effective communication skills.
Prior to RPMGlobal, Mike held management and Executive roles with JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Oracle and ABB with experience across many industry sectors including Finance, Retail, Telecoms, Manufacturing, Energy and Defence. He has a Bachelor degree from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa.
Allen was appointed General Manager in July 2015. Prior to joining RPM, Allen was CEO of Strategy Optimisation Systems, a leading long-term planning solutions provider. He has over 25 years of experience delivering customer value and driving revenue growth for software focused companies. Allen’s special focus is new market entry, international growth and developing global operations capability. He has extensive knowledge of the global mining solutions industry. Allen has served as Executive Vice President for both Gemcom and Mincom previously.
Allen holds a Master of Arts from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Queensland. Allen is an Alumni of Harvard Business School and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Gary is the President at RPMGlobal, Latin America, providing advising, software, consulting and professional development services in the natural Resources industries. Gary speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish and has lived in 3 different countries throughout his career. He believes that his success has been the result of his ability to build long term relationships with customers and to deliver on commitments. Gary’s unwavering customer and employee satisfaction focus have earned him an industry-wide reputation for integrity and fairness. Gary has worked across many industry sectors including Manufacturing, Mining & Natural Resources, Utilities, Supply Chain, Defence, Transportation, and Government.
Simon joined RPMGlobal in a senior commercial role in 2011 with over 25 years experience in business leadership roles in the mining and services industries. Prior to joining RPM in 2011, Simon worked in management consulting and business coaching for 10 years following an extensive career with ICI and Orica Mining services in Australia and Asia over 17 years. This formed a solid core knowledge of the mining industry and included managing the Quarrying and Construction sector in Queensland, the rapidly developing mining markets in Papua New Guinea, the Coal sector in Queensland as State Manager for WA.
During his time at RPM, Simon has lead business development and commercial processes from small independent reviews to multi-billion dollar transactions and major feasibility studies.
Igor has over 28 years of extensive experience in the mining industry having served in operational, managerial and consulting roles. As a consultant he has completed over 200 mining studies including, mine feasibility studies, independent technical reviews and estimation of mineral reserves. These include technical studies for metalliferous, coal and quarry projects throughout the world. Though he has experience in the Americas and Africa, much of his international focus has been within the Asia region with extensive work in Indonesia, Mongolia, India and China.
Igor’s key strengths include project management, strategic analysis of new and existing mining projects to optimise value, and developing mine plans that deliver practical and achievable outcomes. He is familiar with both the Australian JORC Code and the Canadian NI 43-101 reporting requirements.
As well as a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours, Igor has supporting post-graduate qualifications in business and environmental management.
Dr John Uhrie has 20 years of experience with major mining companies including Phelps Dodge, Freeport McMoRan and Newmont. He has operated mines on three continents and is highly experienced in operations, operations management, project development, engineering, and startups of copper and gold projects. He is highly experienced in all aspects of owner’s side project engineering as both the process manager and project manager for pre-feasibility through detailed engineering activities and is a recognised technical expert in sulfide processing of copper, heap bio-leaching, pressure oxidation, and SXEW.
Dr Uhrie has authored 18 technical publications and one book and holds 2 US Patents. He is a Registered PE (Mining and Minerals Processing), and is a Qualified Professional through the MMSA.
Richard was appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of RPMGlobal Holdings Limited in August 2012.
Richard is currently a director on the Telstra Health Pty Ltd Board. Richard was previously the Non-Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of eServGlobal Limited. He has more than 20 years’ of management experience in telecommunications, software, and investment. He is a founding partner of MHB Holdings Pty Ltd. Richard was formerly CEO of Mincom, Australia’s largest enterprise software company. Richard has also held the role of Senior Vice President, International at J D Edwards and Director of TransLink Transport Authority.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Science from Otago University and is an Associate Chartered Accountant.
Allan joined the RPMGlobal Holdings Limited Board in November 2011.
Allan is currently the Chairman of GBST Holdings Limited.
Allan has been involved in the technology industry for over 30 years at both executive and non- executive level. Allan was formerly Director and Chief Executive Officer of Volante Group Limited from 2000-2004. From 1986 – 2000 Allan cofounded a number of IT companies which all became part of the Volante Group.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Applied Science.
Ross was appointed to the RPMGlobal Holdings Limited Board of Directors in March 2007.
Ross is also a non-executive director on the board of Wagners Holding Company Limited since its IPO in December 2017.
Ross joined Pitcher Partners (previously Johnston Rorke) in 1985, held the position of Managing Partner in 1992 – 2008 and again from 2014 – 2017. Predominately involved in corporate finance, auditing, valuations, capital raisings, and mergers and acquisitions for the past 20 years.
Ross has experience in corporate finance, auditing, valuations and capital raisings.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce, FCA.
Stewart was appointed to the RPMGlobal Holdings Limited Board of Directors on 1 September 2018.
Stewart is currently a non-executive director of Gladstone Ports Corporation Limited and Chairman of Stanmore Coal Limited and has over 40 years’ experience in the Australian resources industry.
Stewart was formerly managing director of Wesfarmers Resources and its associated boards where he retired in August 2016 following a 16 year tenure with the group having joined Wesfarmers Limited in June 2000.
In addition, Stewart has a strong association with the mining industry having sat on, or chaired, a number of industry boards. These include President of Queensland Resources Council (QRC), Chairman of the Australian Coal Association, and its low emissions technology fund ACALET. Stewart was also Chairman of the Minerals Council Coal Forum, and a Director with the Minerals Council of Australia and the Western Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy.
Stewart has held a past board position with the ASX listed Duet Group until its sale and delisting in May 2017.
Stewart holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Newcastle, a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies from the University of New England and is a graduate of AICD and the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School.
